Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to purchasing a ticket to any Perth Festival event, a Gift Certificate, Film Vouchers, or joining a Festival Membership. By making a purchase, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Perth Festival reserves the right to vary the terms of sale at any time. Variations become effective upon posting on the web site. By making a purchase through Perth Festival after the terms and conditions have been varied you agree to be bound by the variation.
Perth Festival tickets are sold or issued subject to the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice (Consumer Code). A copy of the LPA Code can be obtained by visiting Live Performance Australia's website or click here for a direct link to the code.
We do not charge transaction or booking fees when you purchase tickets directly via Perth Festival.
If you choose to have your tickets delivered by Registered Post an additional fee of $6.50 will apply. Fees are non-refundable. If you have selected delivery by mail please allow at least 14 days for your order to arrive at your nominated address.
Other authorised ticketing providers (including Arts and Culture Trust box offices) selling tickets to Perth Festival shows charge different transaction fees. Please visit their websites for details.
Ticket prices exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
All ticket package and membership purchases are final and shall not be refunded, except as required by law or in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice or as otherwise specified by Perth Festival.
Ticket exchanges are only permitted to another performance of the same event at the same price reserve or higher, strictly subject to availability. Please contact us no later than 2 business days in advance of your original performance date to allow time for processing. If you make a request to exchange tickets with less than 2 business days notice, Perth Festival cannot guarantee that we will be able to process your request. Exchanges of this nature are subject to a fee of $6 per exchange, in addition to any cost difference(s) if the new tickets are a higher price. If a refund or exchange is made, Perth Festival may retain any fee it has charged to the extent permitted by the law.
Lost or stolen tickets can be replaced where required, and applicable replacement fees will apply.
Children under 24 months old may attend most Festival events free of charge on the condition they do not occupy a seat and they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. To check whether your event is included in this policy, please contact us directly.
Perth Festival events may be subject to age restrictions. Please ensure you check the event page for confirmation of age restrictions. If an event is classed as 18+ you will be asked to present a legal form of identification and may not be permitted entry if you are unable to provide it.
Tickets are sold on behalf of Perth Festival and are subject to the conditions applicable to the event and/or venue where presented.
Please note that Perth Festival reserves the right to exclude latecomers or to admit them only at an appropriate point in the performance at the discretion of venue management.
The right of admission is reserved. It is a condition of entry to events that a search of person or possessions may be required at the time of entry to the venue.
Cameras and recording devices are not permitted at any time unless otherwise specified. A breach of this condition may lead to the confiscation of equipment and removal of the ticket holder from the venue.
Gift Certificates can be used to purchase tickets to events through the Perth Festival website and expire at the end of the 2025 Festival Season. Gift certificates can also be redeemed via our Info Centre by phone, email or Webchat, and at Perth Festival Box Offices.
Film Vouchers are valid for any Lotterywest Films session and expire at the end of the 2025 Lotterywest Film season. Film Vouchers may be converted into tickets in advance of your chosen session by contacting us during business hours via webchat or phone, no later than 12pm on the day of the event for week day sessions, or 12pm on Saturdays for weekend sessions. Alternatively, Film Vouchers can still be redeemed at the gate, though note this is subject to venue capacity.
We strongly recommend redeeming Film Vouchers in advance to avoid missing out. Once a Film Voucher has been converted into a Lotterywest Films session and ticket(s) have been issued, the Voucher expires and the barcode cannot be redeemed again. If you are unable to attend the screening date for your issued tickets, refer to the Refunds and Exchanges section on this page.
Gift Certificates and Film Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash, including any unused vouchers or value remaining at the end of the 2025 Festival Season.
The right is reserved to vary advertised programs, pricing, venue and seating arrangements, and to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary.
Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided for collection of tickets, and for admission to a performance.
Perth Festival honours Companion Cards. A valid Companion Card or valid Companion Card number must be produced at the time of booking to gain access to a Companion Card ticket.
Perth Festival collects your individual information in case of an event cancellation or change. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information, Perth Festival is not responsible for failure to contact you.
Ticket holders attending the event do so at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perth Festival is not responsible for any loss, damage, harm or injury arising from a ticket holder’s entry to a venue or performance within a venue.
Perth Festival reserves the right to change any element of a performance sales structure, including but not limited to pricing, at any time and without notice.
All programs and artists are subject to change without notice.
In the event of a cancelled or changed performance or ticket, Perth Festival is not liable for any additional expenses incurred by ticket holders including transport, parking, or any other expense.
The event organiser reserves the right to film, video, record, photograph, broadcast or telecast the event.
Any event or product sold through Perth Festival is subject to demand-based pricing. This may see prices increase or decrease at any time during a sales period for any given event or product. These changes may occur without notice. Such alterations do not entitle you to a refund or adjustment for tickets purchased prior to revised pricing.
Tickets are only valid when purchased through an authorised agent. Tickets may not be resold or offered for unauthorised resale for an amount which exceeds the original ticket price by more than 10%, or as specified by law.
Perth Festival reserves the right to cancel any ticket sold or offered for unauthorised resale in breach of this condition, without notice and without a refund, and the ticket holder may be refused entry into the event.
Festival Club Members receive benefits including priority booking and discounts. The full list of benefits is available here.
Discount prices are subject to change without notice and may not be available for all performances. All special offers are subject to availability. For details of the Festival Club price for an individual event visit the event page of the show on our website.
