We’re closing out The Embassy with A Night Out West ­– and everyone’s invited. Join us for this celebratory ode to The Coolbaroo Club and its infamous ball, thrown back in 1955.

A club night outside the club. A disability-led party and a political statement – that the rave can be revolutionary when disabled knowledge is at its core. It’s a chance for partygoers to show up as their fullest selves, with a focus on community solidarity, crip knowledge, pleasure and expanding club culture.

Hear the stunning vocals of Jess Hitchcock performing re-orchestrated tracks from her two solo albums with inventive chamber ensemble Penny Quartet, plus music by Pulitzer prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw. This is one for lovers of fine string quartet music and stirring songs.
