For Arts Industry
We're backing WA artists and arts workers with free opportunities in 2025. Connect for Arts Industry offers opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and ways to push your practice. We encourage cross-border collaboration and convergence by providing space for you to create connections with peers throughout our neighbouring region.
Our programs are aimed at artists, curators and collaborators making work in all art forms and those who do both. See the opportunities we're offering below and check back as we announce more details about the classes, workshops and activities we’re planning.

Festival Lab
Festival Lab is an annual program that encourages participants to deeply engage with the Perth Festival program. Emerging artists from any discipline have the opportunity to link in with other emerging artists and experience the breadth of Festival offerings together. You'll have the chance to reflect on your artistic practice with an arts leader as your guide and navigator.
Applications close Tues 26 Nov 9am.
In the Frame
In the Frame is a pilot program dedicated to Perth Festival Lotterywest Films. We’re giving up to four emerging film critics from any background the opportunity to watch and reflect on films in our 2024 - 25 season. In the Frame is open to film practitioners and film lovers alike!
Applications close Wed 27 Nov.
Workshops and Masterclasses
Expand your practice and spend some time learning from Festival artists in these workshops and masterclasses. We’re bringing you professional development, cross-disciplinary concepts, and deeper engagement with these opportunities.
The first workshop will go live in December with more sessions announced in January.
Industry Screenings
Our international cinema program hosts media and screen industry previews giving the Western Australian industry a chance to see new celebrated films before they screen to the public. Some screenings also feature Q&A's and curated talks with creators and local practitioners to join in thoughtful discussions throughout the cinema season.
