Exploring big ideas and the stories that connect us.

PIAF Conversations are your opportunity to engage more deeply with our Festival artists as they reflect on their work and the challenges, questions and propositions they are presenting at 2017 PIAF.

Writer and dramaturg Ruth Little returns as our Festival Navigator to lead you through artist discussions and forums and to explore the Festival’s themes via her regular blog on our website.

Nigel Jamieson, Zoe Atkinson, Dr Noel Nannup, Stephen Hopper and Mandy Bamford

Can art save the planet?

The 2017 PIAF opening event is focused on the richness and interdependency of the flora and fauna of South Western Australia and our need to take responsibility for this land we share.

Meet some of the artists, storytellers and scientists who have brought Boorna Waanginy to life.

Facilitated by Ruth Little.

PLEASE NOTE: Important Road Closure information in Kings Park for Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak
