Richard Katz has been a collaborator and actor with Complicite since the late 1990s. He first performed with the company in the award-winning Mnemonic from 1999–2002, including an Off-Broadway season in 2001. Other performances with the company include The Noise of Time, a collaboration with the Emerson String Quartet, in 2000, Measure for Measure in 2004–05 and the major role of Ivan Nikolayich Bezdomny in Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita from 2011–13. He has been a significant contributor to the creation of The Encounter since the beginning of the research and development process.
