PIAF Announces new board member

Perth International Arts Festival is delighted to announce David Flynn has joined its Board of Directors.

David Flynn is a Partner with corporate advisory firm Azure Capital, and he combines a successful business career with a deep interest in the arts.  

PIAF Chair John Barrington said Mr Flynn would bring new perspectives to the Festival and his extensive local and international strategic background would contribute greatly to its development.

Mr Flynn has more than 15 years of experience in corporate advisory and international capital markets, working across a variety of industries including telecommunications, financial services, mining services and natural resources.

He holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School, and degrees in Mathematics and Commerce (with First Class Honours) from Curtin University of Technology.

'I am excited to be joining the board of an organisation that I have long admired and that contributes to the vibrancy and rich social tapestry of Western Australia,' Mr Flynn said.

'I have a strong interest in the arts, particularly music, and have enjoyed many PIAF events over the years. I look forward to the future festivals and working with the talented people at PIAF.'
