Lotterywest Festival Films: Julieta

Julieta is the twentieth film by Pedro Almodóvar – Spain’s master of colourful, emotional heart-on-sleeve cinema. The story is a mystery, in which a middle-aged woman remembers her past, trying to reconcile her estrangement from her adult daughter. As always for Almodóvar, it’s totally gorgeous – and you won’t see more vivid colours (or better clothes) at the cinema this year.
