Enjoy the return of warm summer nights by watching the best of world cinema under the stars at the picturesque ECU Joondalup Pines. What better way to spend an evening than picnicking with friends before the sun sets and the silver screen lights up.
Door sales from 6.30pm Tuesday–Sunday. Picnickers are welcome from 6.30pm but must be seated by 8pm (7.30pm from 6 March 2017)
Please note the ECU Joondalup Pines is BYO only. There will not be any facilities on site to purchase alcohol.
Patrons will be able to purchase a selection of food, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and ice cream from 6.30pm from the Snack Hut situated next to the venue. The Snack Hut is open Tuesday–Thursday.
There are no screenings, Christmas Day (Fri 25 Dec), or Good Friday (Fri 14 Apr).
There are no Monday screenings at ECU Joondalup Pines. ECU Joondalup Pines will also be closed on the following dates Fri 3 Mar and Fri 7 April due to events being held on campus.

The ECU Joondalup Pines is situated on a natural incline with the entry and box office at the base of the incline.
Patrons are recommended to park in car park 14 and follow the path toward the lake.
Patrons who park in car park 14 please note there is a very steep, paved pathway down the incline to the entry to the venue.
An alternative pathway leads across the top of the hill and curves down the other side of the venue where the incline is gentle.
The box office and main entry can be accessed via stairs or a large, gentle ramped pathway.
There is no audio loop available for performances in ECU Joondalup Pines.
Wheelchair seating is available on the side and rear of the auditorium.
Please speak to venue staff on arrival if you require assistance.
A universal access toilet is located at the rear of the box office in Edith Cowan House. Please ask venue staff to assist unlocking the toilet.
Pick up and set down is available in Car Park 14.

We want to reduce waste and maximise recycling at ECU Joondalup Pines. Thinking of buying a coffee? Don't forget your Keep Cup. Bringing a picnic? Go for reusable over disposable containers every time. Whether you get snacks here or bring your own, at the end of the night please do the right thing, and put rubbish in the right bin! Bottles and cans, coffee cups, wine cups, ice cream tubs and pizza boxes all go in recycling and everything else into general waste. Joondalup is a public transport hub with many buses and trains. Bus routes from Perth to Joondalup include 401 and 402 to Stirling Station and 777, 886, 887 from Wellington Street Bus Station. The Joondalup CAT is a free, high-frequency service that operates around the Joondalup CBD and education facilities.
