The Year I Was Born

A Fundación Teatro a Mil Production

How many versions of the past exist?

Heath Ledger Theatre, State Theatre Centre of WA
State Library Theatre

Tickets $16

This riveting documentary theatre work explores a nation’s complex history through the eyes of a resilient and hopeful generation.

Amid bursts of exuberant rock music and deceptively playful scenarios, performers born during Pinochet’s dictatorship in Chile reconstruct their family histories using photographs, old clothes, letters, anecdotes and elusive recollections.
